Julia Batt and Brian Vizzard by overhanging tree

Heath Ward Cllrs Julia Batt and Bryan Vizzard are calling for urgent action to cut back overhanging trees on Queens Road. The Cllrs often walk the route themselves and believe that the overhanging trees are a significant road safety hazard.

Cllr Batt said, 'Like many residents, I find myself having to step out into the road to avoid these trees. This risks walking straight out into the path of passing traffic.'

Cllr Vizzard said, 'I've reported this situation to the Council and have asked for urgent action to be taken'
