Lowest Council Tax increase in Kent

Lib Dems in Maidstone have delivered the lowest Council tax rise in Kent while maintaining front line services, thanks to responsible investment alongside tough financial management.

Liberal Democrat Leader of Maidstone Borough Council Fran Wilson states,

"Considering the fact that Maidstone Council received just a 1% increase in grant from the Government, I am delighted that we have delivered the lowest budget figure anywhere in Kent.

This year is going to be very tough for many people, and I believe that residents money is best left in their own pockets.
